Good chicken rice. I read many rave reviews and generally agree the chicken rice is above average. However, this is not my favorite stall. E.g., Wee Nam Kee, Chicken House at Upper Thomson are much better. Still, I rated this stall 5 stars as the food is good, the price is reasonable, and the chicken portions are generous.

For a quarter chicken (lower half), plus one rice, I think my bill came to $17+. The chicken feet was $3. The chicken portions could have easily fed 2-3 (I was greedy).

Ming Kee chicken rice would in my opinion be below Wee Nam Kee and Chicken House but above 925 Yishun Chicken Rice. 925 has good chicken rice too but the chicken can be too soft sometimes. Ming Kee’s chicken is succulent but still firm enough. They don’t remove the bones by default though (don’t know if they allow but I supposed one can ask).

The people working at the stall can be a bit overly protective about their chilli sauce. I don’t blame them as too many people waste sauces. But perhaps, they can give the amount of sauces according to the amount of chicken ordered (at least).

Overall verdict: Will definitely come again if in the area.
